Back To the Old Stuff....

Back to routine...
School started today. Evan is gone. He has five classes this semester, which translates in ZERO time at home. He is practically going to live at School....
Carmen started as well. She is super excited. I had ZERO energy to do anything this morning. I really didn't want the holidays to slip off my fingers like that.
I enjoyed so much having Evan around and chill.
Now it is stress time again.
Oh well... all good things come to an end.... I think I've said that before.
Aaaaaaaaaanywaaaaaaaayy...
I have a couple of ideas for what I want to accomplish this year. I am trying my hardest! to repress my super realistic attitude.... I hate it sometimes :( ... but there is always something exciting about a clean, new page....so I am excited.
My reading has been great these days.
I decided to focus on my Book of Mormon reading. I also have to do the Old Testament ( since we are studying in Church this year) and be up to date with the lessons for Relief Society.
This will be the year when I don't get behind :D
So, I've been reading about the time when Nephi and his family arrive to the Promise Land. Nephi starts teaching them from the words of Isaiah and Lehi says his last words to his children.
It is a marvelous time if you asked me. A promise being fulfilled, faith being strengthened, blessings being granted, expressions of love extended and testimonies being planted.
One of the main messages of the Book of Mormon is that if we keep the commandments, God will prosper us. And I know that to be true.
I have faith is that promise and I know that if I do what the Lords commands, He will bless me far beyond my own capabilities of "blessing myself" any other way.
Another thing I KNOW is that with Obedience comes HAPPINESS, the same as wickedness was never happiness....Obedience IS! And, since I want to be happy, I'll work on my Obedience :D
My hand is starting to hurt again :( ... one of my other goals is related to my playing of the piano... so I'll stop typing.
Good luck with your goal settings everybody!

ains maripili, a mi tambien me está pillando la cosa con la guardia baja.
Por alguna razón "volver" a lo de siempre se me está haciendo muy cuesta arriba.
En mi caso, lo que necesito es un cambio... por dentro y por fuera.
