how long has it been???

I think I will write something...just to write something.
There are just too many things I need to take care of....
I just need time to stop for a second so I can gather my thoughts, make some plans, organize myself and actually do something i can be proud of.
But in a way I am not too worried because I am really blessed in the areas of my life that matter most to me.
My family:
Evan is doing great in school, he's doing great in the military.... he got some work to be in a movie ( the new superman movie) as a US navy officer and he got paid a good chunk.
He just started teaching as a Seminary teacher. So he's super busy...and tired!
My kids are doing great in school. Carmen is participating in a talent show at her school.
She is such a clever girl. Her mind is so out of this world. She doesn't seem to stop to amaze me.
Evan is making lots of friends. I can't believe how fast he's learning to read! He's even started to write!
He now reads a whole verse of the scriptures on his own in Spanish!!
I am so happy that we have been perfect at reading the scriptures every morning together for a few months in a row now... I am excited! We have been working on memorizing scriptures for primary. Carmen's memory is amazing!
Isabel is talking more and more. She seems to be more "out there" now. She is now in primary and I think she's getting used to a class setting better now. So I've been taking her to more groups.... and I just signed her up to a talent agency. We'll see!
Since I was called the RS president... I've been strengthened beyond understanding.
My personal study has had to improve, my faith has had to grow and my heart has had to be softened.
I am so glad my sisters have shown me love and respect and support.
I am so happy that I've seen miracles.
We'll have 3 new sisters into our RS this month. And I intend to have so many more to come.
We have set goals, we have put our trust in the Lord and we can see things happening.
It's teaching me that sisters, when they're united, they're a powerful force for good in the world!
It's an amazing feeling to be leading such a great group of women.
I find that I am at my happiest when I am serving... when I am useful... when I am doing something good.
ok... so there are many things that are working for me.......
i just need to do better with the laundry and ironing pile!!!!

thanks for writing that, it was so inspiring and uplifting. That's cool about Evan being in a movie! What's the talent agency for? Is that like modelling and acting and stuff? I considered signing Angus up for something like that.
