Before and After

I've mentioned before I needed a haircut right??? Well...guess who got one: Evan Sr and Evan Jr.
He likes doing his hair now, daddy style... like fills up the sink, dumps his head in it and styles it up....
this is how it looked like :D

This is how it looks like now!

He is such a doll!!! They love him at the hairdressing place.
And to be honest.... how could you not!!!???
In the mean time.... my hair still needs some URGENT love !:S

I was lost...but now I am found

We were at the park, and someone asked me for directions. I had no idea, so I couldn't helped them. But after they left Carmen asked me: "Mom, if they didn't know where to go, why didn't you tell them to pray??"
Can you believe it?? Why didn't I think of that???
And even more impressive...
She not only listens but she is a DOER!
That's why I love kids.
That's why I love being home with my kids.
That's why He has asked us to be like little children.
I'm learning more as a mother than I've ever learned any other way.
And learning of the kind that is eternal.
She reminded me, I am sometimes lost... I don't know where to go, what to do.... but God can help me find the way.
He has done it so many times.... and He will do it as long as I ask Him to help me.
Because of Him I am no longer lost.

I Love To See The Temple!

On Monday night, for our FHE, we talked about the Temple... to prepare our kids for the AMAZING opportunity we were going to have to enter the Temple and see everything inside!
Is that a real blessing, or what??
I'd have loved to be them.... these are amazing children, so blessed to live in times like this, when they can witness so many miracles despite of all the difficulties they'll have to face... THIS is really the best time to be on the earth.
The experience was more amazing than what we were prepared for.
The TEMPLE is so beautiful!
I love it!
Having had participated in the Temple opening in Madrid, I know what big of a blessing it is to have a Temple in your town. I know how big of an effect the Temple will have for the Church here in BC and in the members.
Carmen's favorite part of the Temple was the sealing room ( the mirrors that go on forever) and the Celestial room.
I took the time to sit with her in the bride's room to tell her that one day I'll be there with her, helping her put on her beautiful princess dress, to do her hair, and make-up and get her all ready and beautiful to meet her prince to marry him for ALL ETERNITY!
I can almost cry when I think of that day. I can't wait to see her on the most important day of her life.
She said that she had a warm almost burning feeling in her heart.
She knows it was the Spirit.
I am not sure she will remember that when she is 17, but I hope she will have many more experiences like this, when she will feel that the Lord is testifying to her of Him, of His truth and if His Church.
I can't wait for the dedication, I can't wait to come often. I KNOW that this Temple is going to be a blessing for ME and my FAMILY!

Sunday Picnic

We had a lovely sunny Sunday, so we made sandwiches and went to Stanley Park. ( According to Evan, Stanley is good at making Cups and Parks :D)
The kids loved it.
It was my first time... and I have been here for over 6 years ( it is embarrassing, I know, but as I've said before: Evan doesn't take me anywhere!).
I really liked it. It is amazing. The ocean, the mountains, the greenery... everything looks breath taking.
I love living in Vancouver!

Can she be any cuter?

Just because they are so pretty

I take pictures of my kids...almost everyday, and I make videos, almost every day....
I just hope I never forget the smallest little detail of their characters.
They are growing so fast it is scary! And this memory of mine disappears by the minute! ( even scarier!).
They are just beautiful... to me, anyway.
So bear with me and my braggingness ( word?) ;P

Evan needs a haircut :S
( Me too by-the-way...but who cares, right?)

Isabel's finally got some hair :D
(Halleluia chorus here!!)

And Carmen lets me practice braiding her hair :D
( And she poses for me!)

Will I miss it???

I absolutely love nursing.
Being able to breastfeed all my babies has been a blessing. It is interesting, though, how each of them have been a different and unique experience.
Carmen was the BEST. I produced lots of milk and she loved it. When it was time to stop ( at around 9 months old), she had no problem changing to a bottle, and she's been a really good eater after that.
Evan, bless my soul, was hard. He would only take one breast, so it left my nipple bleeding, left me lob-sided, and it left him hungry... not very pleasant but still good. He stopped at 8 months. (I couldn't wait any longer to have my boobs back to my normal size again!).
Isabel has been good too. I didn't get the milk right away, and she was almost premature so she has been drinking bottles from the beginning.
The problem is now that I want to stop nursing ( she is almost 18 months!) and SHE WON"T LET ME!.
I try to talk to her into giving me my freedom back...but this is her face! :D

She is not letting me... not yet.
And even though I want to stop, I now that I will continue to nurse as long as she wants.
I know I will not be able to give her the best of everything, but at least i give her the best option of feeding right now.

(PS: Does anybody know of a good plastic surgeon for my boob job??
No kidding!
I am happy with my size....but we all know they are not the same).

All Clean....

I love bath time.
They have so much fun and it gives me some time to do some cleaning without interruptions.
Plus, I love the smell of a just bathed little person.
And I love the laughs while smothering them with lotion....
and when we are done:
" AAAALL CLEAN!!!"
Love to hear them say that.

Doesn't it feel amazing to be ALL CLEAN??

Pues igual. Anda que me lo paso yo mal bailando con mis nenes.
Ya lo habia comentado antes, pero no fallan las sesiones de bailoteo en mi casa.
